If you should ever wonder; When did I start making videos? Or when did I start making music?
Okay! You say that you are not desperate enough to ask these questions; YES, I GET IT! But I am here to tell you; I started when I was six. Six years old, exactly. You just could not watch the videos just yet. But they were there...oh yeah...It was ALL there. I even made a gospel choir with ten Barbie dolls and made a huge gospel concert with them, while American relatives with the bible under their arm had just left, to go back to that cool America where things really happen. They said. Especially it happens in the Bible, they said. I wasn`t convinced but...the cassette they brought was convincing. A blond woman on the casette cover. Nobody had heard about her. But they listened to unknown local singers from the ministry. And she could really sing. "This is real music!" and "Don`t listen to pop! "Don`t go to LA! What`s so great about that?" and "There`s a church community in our town" and "It`s in Minnesota we really "get down". I asked if they had rollercoasters and they said "yes". And my nickname was "Pippi" for some reason. I asked "You mean Pippi Longstocking?". "Yes", was the answer. Pippi Longstocking. My hard drive was full at that point. And my mom`s hard drive became pretty empty. And for some reason I feel like it still is. Okay, that was a joke...actually not, but...It was probably hard has h*ll having me as a kid. And when everybody asks her she says I was so quiet, and never stopped saying that until I got older. The denial was real. But with the years it became very clear that this was always who I was. I never stopped. I just don`t have that turn - off - button. Even if there was a turn - off - button in front of me, I would NEVER press it. EVER! It has not been easy for me. But life is a lot easier now. Even though I have heavy responsibilities like everybody else has, it becomes easy when you decide to be youself. Before that everything was hard. I hid under a rock most of my teenage years. But that`s okay. I took back my teenage years in my mid-twenties and up until this point. Where I`ve managed to not look older than 18. Thanks to my great attitude and sense of humor.
